Welcome!
We are thrilled to kick off the 2023-2024 season, and we want to make sure you're just as excited as we are! Adam Caldwell and Summer Fann, serving as Chair and Co-Chair of our esteemed Palmetto ASQ chapter, are eagerly anticipating a year filled with enlightening experiences and valuable insights into quality principles.
This season, we've curated a lineup of essential topics that promise to deepen your understanding. We're delving into critical subjects like Change Management, Food Safety, and Project Management, while also venturing into new territory with an overview of AI and Material Failure Analysis. Plus, we have a tour lined up at the AFL Accessories plant, renowned as the leading manufacturer of Fiber Optic cable, components, and conductor accessories.
As for our meetings, we'll continue to leverage the convenient and successful Zoom platform for all sessions, except for the AFL tour, which promises to be a hands-on experience. Here's a convenient tidbit: the same Zoom invite will be used for all meetings throughout the year. Register for one, and you're set for the rest! This flexibility ensures you can join us whenever your schedule permits. It's an excellent opportunity not only to expand your knowledge but also to earn CEUs. Each meeting offers 0.5 credits, and you'll receive confirmation of the CEUs awarded promptly after each session.
Now, here's where you can truly make a difference. Our board is in need of dedicated members like you! Many of our current board members, who have worked tirelessly to sustain this section, are looking to explore new horizons. We're seeking volunteers willing to spare a few hours each month between June and August to help plan the next season's meetings. Unsure about how to contribute? No worries! Reach out to us at chair@palmettoasq.org, and we'll guide you on how you can make a meaningful impact.
We appreciate your unwavering support for the Palmetto Section of ASQ. Together, we anticipate an exceptional year ahead, filled with growth, knowledge, and camaraderie.
Warm regards,
Adam Caldwell and Summer Fann
